Advanced courses are available to those who feel comfortable skiing a 'red' run. For groups, all participants must choose the same specialization.

Ski touring and splitboarding open an entire new universe to those looking for fresh snow and more adventure. Discover the magical freedom and satisfaction of being the first to ride a backcountry line, entirely human-powered and self-sufficient, under the expert supervision of Georgia's best guides. 

Ski touring/splitboarding skills are developed over 4 lessons. Practice using avalanche safety and backcountry gear, improve your uphill efficiency, and learn to safely enjoy all of the best aspects of hiking along with the unbeatable thrill of riding back down.

Participants must select a minimum of 4 lessons (at least 2 full days or 4 half days) to complete their registration.

To book full days, click the 'book multiple dates' button, choose your dates and select morning sessions, add them to the cart, and then continue shopping and select the afternoon sessions. 

To book lessons at different times on different days, click the 'book multiple dates' button, select your dates, and then click the 'select individual times' button.

Rental equipment is not included. Participants must rent skis/splitboards with skins and touring bindings, extendable poles, and an avalanche beacon, shovel, and probe.

Telemark ski lessons with Georgia's only qualified telemark instructor! Telemark, the original downhill ski sport. Learn how to ski a whole new way, more in touch and closer to the snow. It is a sport that will improve your alpine skiing also, in rate and range of movements, use of edges and rotation elements. If you can ski, you can telemark, if you can telemark, you will ski much better! Join us and learn how to free the heel!

Due to limitations on available rental equipment, telemark lessons are available only to those with shoe sizes 39-45 and height between 160-190cm, or those who bring their own equipment. 

Rental telemark skis and boots are included in the lesson price.
